With low beamed ceilings,
exposed rustic stone walls and beautiful natural fireplaces the Mariani Restaurant which
still retains the old familar name of The Capricorn in it's title and is the
ideal place for relaxing with family, friends or business colleagues
The Mariani resturant is set in the cellars of an old town house.
Chef Patron Mario Mariani and his wife Christine have been associated with the Capricorn as it was formerly known for over 20 years many of these as owners.
The Mariani resturant is located close to the leisure centre in the heart of Goole.
On arrival you will be recieved by Mario's friendly staff who will serve you a drink while you relax in the comfortable bar area choosing from our extensive menus which of course caters for the vegetarian diner.
When your meal is ready you'll be shown into the elegant and comfortable surroundings of our restaurant by our professional staff where you will dine and relax in a pleasant ambient atmosphere. You will not be rushed into leaving your table as our policy is "It's yours for the full evening".
Mario's reputation for his Fish and Seafood recipes continues to grow and there are special Gourmet Fish evenings several times a year where you can savour his special brand of culinary preparation.
The restaurant is open, evenings from Wednesday to Saturday until late, and also for Family Sunday luncheons from 12pm - 4.30pm. The restaurant can seat upto 100 people comfortably and is well suited to host large parties, wedding and corporate functions as well as the intimate dinner for two or with friends.
